Blast Robotics Team 10989

STEM Tutoring

Weekly after-school tutoring in math, science, and introductory robotics for students of all levels, led by Blast Robotics mentors.

Not every student who wants to build a robot needs a full robotics team — sometimes what helps most is steady, one-on-one support in the fundamentals. Our STEM Tutoring program pairs students with Team 10989 mentors for weekly sessions in math, science, and introductory robotics.

How it works

  • Weekly after-school sessions, open to students of all levels
  • Small-group and one-on-one formats depending on need
  • Led by current Blast Robotics students and adult mentors
  • Designed to complement — not replace — classroom instruction

Why our mentors are effective tutors

Every mentor in this program is either actively competing in FIRST Robotics Competition or has direct STEM industry experience. That means tutoring sessions naturally connect classroom math and science to real, hands-on applications — the same connection that makes FRC such a powerful learning environment.

This program is in active rollout. If you’re a parent interested in scheduling sessions, or a mentor interested in volunteering your time, get in touch — we’re expanding availability based on demand.

Mentor the next generation of engineers

We need mentors in engineering, programming, business, and design. No robotics background required — just a willingness to teach.
